Islamabad: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Al-Rangers arrested Qadir Trust case, Imran Khan from the Islamabad High Court premises.

Chairman PTI Imran Khan was present in the Islamabad High Court premises for bail in two cases but had yet to reach the courtroom. As soon as the former Prime Minister got off his wheelchair for biometrics, he was arrested by the Rangers.

According to sources, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested Chairman PTI in the Qadir Trust case; NAB officials had warrants for the arrest of Imran Khan.

 

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court takes notice of the incident.

 

The Chief Justice Islamabad High Court took notice of the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s court and summoned IG Islamabad in 15 minutes.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court said that IG Islamabad and the Secretary of Interior should be present in 15 minutes.

IG Islamabad said that Imran Khan had been arrested in the Al -Qadir Trust case; the situation is normal; section 144 in Islamabad is implemented, which will be prosecuted in case of violation.

IG Islamabad said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan had been shifted to NAB Rawalpindi, where he will be examined.

 

In the Qadir Trust case, Bashari Bibi challenges the NAB inquiry.

In the Qadir University case, Imran Khan’s wife, Bashrai Bibi, challenged the NAB inquiry in the Islamabad High Court. The investigation was launched, and the court ordered the NAB to provide the inquiry details.

 

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s reaction

 

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah responded to the arrest of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, saying that the cases against him are documentary and the accuser of others was committing corruption. There was an inquiry against Imran Khan in which the national treasury was underway. It is a matter of loss of Rs 50 billion; the property worth Rs 5 billion in the Qadir Trust is in his name.

He said that the reference could be presented in court without arrest in this case. Despite repeated notices, Imran Khan refused to appear. He did not give a written reply if it would be alleged why you were arrested and why you were arrested. Why can such an investigation control such crimes?

In one of his tweets, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran did not appear despite the notices, NAB has been arrested for damaging the national treasury, and he has not been tortured.
